NBA Creators Program

NBA Creators presented by Microsoft Surface is a design-focused program that leverages the NBA and Microsoft’s platforms to elevate and increase exposure of Canadian POC artists. The artists created illustrations for NBA Canada and Microsoft's social media.

I applied to and was chosen as one of the NBA Creators in 2022. I was asked to create 2 illustrations.

One of them was to promote a Toronto Raptors vs Chicago Bulls game. DeMar DeRozan was a beloved former Raptor, so I decided to highlight him, along with 2 players on the Raptors team, Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet, with the Chicago skyline in the background.

The second illustration was never used, but it features 4 superstars: Steph Curry, Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokić, and Trae Young forming part of the NBA logo.
