In 2024, Shake Shack started expanding into Canada, opening locations in Toronto. I was asked to create the artwork for the Union Station location.
For the wall mural, I wanted to show the different parts of Union Station, as a transportation hub and as a place for people to gather, in a chaotic way. There are shops, shortcuts, and sports venues nearby. The station layout has always been confusing for people to navigate, and full of liminal spaces.
A limited run of tote bags and stickers were also distributed.
For the hoarding, the illustrations show people interacting with the Shake Shack food and drinks in different setttings, such as on the subway, nearby Rogers Centre, or mirroring the Union Station Foodie Aisle area.
